How I Started As a Writer

I'm a Freemason and a Shriner so my first 2 books were about Freemasonry. The first, "The Top 100, 100 Famous Freemasons From A-Z" and the second "The Masonic Journey" were written under my own name Don Sacco. They can be found on Amazon. And they are books on Freemasonry. The Top 100 are the Top 100 Famous Freemasons catalogued from A-Z. And you could be in for some real surprises here. I know when I was doing the research on this book, I was blown away by what I found. One in particular, if the truth was known, could have saved a lot of lives.

The second book on Freemasonry is a short story that actually came out a lot shorter than I had expected. And it is partially fiction and partially non-fiction. It is my story of how I got into Freemasonry with many fictional characters added to the story. And it has a very surprising ending.

Then I Became Grandpa Don

I wanted to find a way to get my grandkids off their electronics so I decided to write some children's books as "Grandpa Don."

The first was Erick's Enchanted Adventures and the second one was Erick and the Secret Capsule and the third one was for my autistic granddaughter and it was called The Zebra, The Hippo and the Girl Who Thinks In Colors

Then I Decided to try Big Boy Books

Then I decided to try to write adult mystery suspense books. I finished my first one "A Birdwatcher's Guide to Murder." Then I wrote my second "Bad Morning For a Body" and then I was able to do a third "Cider and Cyanide." and then my fourth "Mill and Malice." My newest book "A Rare Bird Down" just came out.
